Our History
Excel Driver Services was founded in 2001, with a focus on delivering training and safety solutions, both privately and publicly. Based in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Excel has emphasis on both CDL and Light Duty training.
Mission
Excel Driver Services is an interdisciplinary training company that facilitates and is dedicated to creating innovative driver curriculums that are conducive to learning, so a trainee can gain the necessary knowledge and practical operational experience necessary to develop the safest skill sets for operating a vehicle.
Staff
Excel is committed to providing the best instructional staff in the industry. Excel requires a minimum of 5 years industry specific experience to the application they will instruct. Excel has different levels of specialized staff for training in different areas, such as Haz-Mat training experts, radioactive transport experience, OSHA and DOT Compliance experts, accident investigation, and staff for other specialized training such as police, fire, and emergency based operations. Instructional staff must complete extensive training prior to field operations to our clients.

Train to do More with Less
While most programs try to represent advanced training, the truth is, most drivers are not equipped with motor skills that are sufficient. Our processes teach individuals to do more with less, meaning that our focus is to train individuals to avoid requiring advanced driving techniques through a unique process, in which drivers are trained to understand where their risk factors lie. By teaching these techniques, drivers learn to identify risks and avoid them altogether.
